The latest book, DRIVE, has raised many questions about the proper use and effectiveness of incentives. This session will provide the attendees a background in the past and current books attacking the use of incentives, and offer valuable insights that are critical in responding to these attacks.
· Are you Trendy? Translating trends into improved performance: The IRF has been tracking the industry trends for the past two years and will provide an in-depth review of where we have been and where the industry is heading. What is the “new normal”? What aspects of the industry are growing? Shrinking? How are incentive and merchandise programs changing and how will this impact the industry and your ability to sell and implement? Join us to find out.

The study highlights successful program design, the sponsor’s rationale, measuring success, the event specifics, the measurement process and the economic impact of the program. Tools provided that help carry this research as a benchmark to all programs. This is a must attend session for anyone in incentive travel managing top performer programs of any kind.
· Mastering Measurements: Tools for developing measuring individual and program performance: The primary reason for implementing incentive programs is to increase performance – measureable improvements in the individual’s, group’s or organization’s results. The secret linchpin between incentives and performance is measurement.
